Mommy and Daddy made me pose with my toys for a photo. I wanted to play with them but I sat still long enough for them to take some photos.
I'm a 9-week old yellow lab living in Bowie, Maryland.

Mommy and Daddy got married today. I was the ring barker and walked down the aisle with Daddy and his friend Steve with the rings attached to my collar. I’ll post photos soon, but in the meantime, you can checkout Mommy and Daddy’s online wedding photo album.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the dog beach at Quiet Waters this afternoon. I had a lot of fun swimming in the water and playing with the other dogs. Daddy kept throwing my tennis ball for me, but my favorite thing to retrieve was a stick I found on the beach.
I learned how to run and jump in the water (3.1 Mb MPEG) like the other dogs.
Here’s a close-up video clip (4.6 Mb MPEG) of me coming out of the water.
There were lots of dogs there playing and I had to learn how to share. Some of bigger dogs would try and take my ball or stick before I had a chance to get to it. One of the black labs came up and took the stick from my mouth (4.1 Mb MPEG) as I was getting out of the water.

Today Elly came over with her parents Erik and Kay for a puppy play date. Elly is a Bullmastiff and is three months younger than I am (but weighs about the same).
We both took turns being afraid but had fun chasing each other. Here is a short video clip (890 Kb MPEG) of us running around the yard.
Here is a video clip (1.6 Mb MPEG) of me showing everyone how I LOVE drinking from the hose.
When we went inside, Elly and I ate ice cubs together. Here’s a video clip (1.3 Mb MPEG) of us both chomping away.

Mommy and Daddy took me to Washington, DC today. On the way into town, I told Daddy I wanted to stop to take a photo in front of the U.S. Capitol building.
I’m going to use this photo when I run for the U.S. Congress someday. I’m working on my campaign slogan, but it will probably be something like “Milkbones and ice cubes for everyone!”
Mommy won a free night at the Hotel Monaco. After we checked into our room, there was a knock at the door. They are a pet-friendly hotel and they sent me a gift, but I think Mommy and Daddy still think that I called for room service.
The hotel was very fancy. They had a red carpet in front and I got real good at going up and down the steps and saying hi to the bellboys.
Mommy and Daddy had dinner at the restaurant and I slept on the floor most of the time. The waitress brought me my own bottled water and milkbone that I enjoyed while Mommy and Daddy were eating.
The best part about the hotel is that they had FREE ICE CUBES! Here’s a video clip (3.3 Mb MPEG) of me crunching on my ice cubes. I don’t think the makers of ice buckets thought they would be used this way.

Daddy took this close-up of me while I was resting outside.
Daddy was trying to get me to pose, but I was getting tired.
Here’s a photo of me sitting next to some of my favorite toys.
Mommy let me play with a beachball and I had fun chasing it around the yard. Here’s a short video clip (1.3 Mb MPEG) of me playing with the ball.

We took a trip to Niantic, Connecticut. A bunch of Mommy’s friends came over and showered her with gifts to celebrate Mommy and Daddy’s engagement and wedding. Mommy’s friend Kerry brought a gift for me too—a beach bag. Here is a photo of me sleeping on my beach towel.

For the last few months, Mommy and Daddy have been closing me in the kitchen when they go to work. Well today, I met Mommy at the front door when she came home because I pushed the gate aside and was able to explore the house while Mommy and Daddy were gone. Other than getting out of the kitchen, I was a good girl.
